"This photo was taken in April, during a four week tour through Namibia. It was taken near Hardap, on the edge of the Kalahari desert. We were lying on the sand taking photos, until the sun was very low on the horizon. I love the soft contrasts and beautiful colours of this photograph."

"This photo was taken at Phinda Game Reserve in South Africa. It was on my first afternoon game drive, and the first animal I photographed! The sun was setting, which cast this beautiful light. It was a magic moment!"

"Leaving Satara camp in the Kruger National Park at first light we came across a pride of lions enjoying the warmth of the road. The light was still low so I concentrated on portrait shots as the sun rose and its first light glanced across the face of this magnificent lion."

"Taken from inside a flat bottomed boat near Little Vumbura in the Okavango Delta. We came across a small herd of Red Lechwe who were acting strange. After the herd panicked and sprung over the water in front of us, we spotted a leopard in the distance."

"This photo was taken while on safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa.  This young cheetah was the last in a coalition of four that were headed across the plain.  He got distracted and was left behind.  Once he noticed that the others were gone, he raced to catch up with them and I caught him nicely with a slow-shutter pan."
